Kristina Evans, Owner of iFit Gourmet

Welcome to my website, I’m Kristina Evans.

I’m a wife of a wonderful husband and a mom of two beautiful daughters who teach me a lot!

I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park (Go Terps!) with a degree in Finance. After graduation I worked in corporate finance for a $3 billion company where I was completely miserable! I then worked for a small software engineering firm in contracts and finally did some consulting for a non-profit organization. But once I became a mom, nothing else mattered, so I quit my job and stayed home to be with my beautiful gift.

Right after the birth of our first daughter, we moved to Phoenix, Arizona. (The only thing I can say is… Yes! It’s really hot! Picture turning on your oven, climbing in and closing the door! That’s Phoenix! Forget everything you’ve heard about “dry heat!”) The most wonderful thing about Phoenix is that is where my 2nd daughter was born. It’s also where I honed my love of cycling (lots of straight flat roads) and food (hello Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and cooking in advance!). We then moved to, CA where I eventually graduated from the Culinary Business Academy and started a personal chef business.

I am an avid road cyclist, a lover of healthy gourmet meals, and above all an encourager for all those around me. I started iFit Gourmet to bring the joys of cycling, regular exercise (in a way that’s balanced with work and family), and fine foods to others. I hope iFit Gourmet helps you achieve a “Healthy Body and Well Fed Soul!”
